Resolutions

Ow wow..why is it soo difficult to keep up my resolutions...well..I can explain why I did not post few days...we bought a new sofa, hocker and some dinner-table-chairs and because of that I had to finish painting my house. So last days I have painted my stairs and furnished it with carpets and did a lot of other painting things (well..you know..all the wood, furniture, walls and decorations are painted in one the same color...creamwhite...hihi..so..lots of work to be done!). Not sure if it is a good excuse but it is an excuse ;)

Irene Alexeeva released her new kit 'Dream with me'. This kit is whimsical, funny and partially hand drawned.

Another week has gone by and I still keep up very well with my battle...in fact..I have already lost few kilo's...I am half way now...which is verrrry good. I really work very hard on it..think about everything I eat or drink and I am counting the points. I made another page with K-studio's kit 'Motivated' and used her 'Motivated word pieces'.

I could not resist this collab between Holly Designs and Vera Lim 'I Resolve..'. I think I really get some support from this kind of kits in keeping up with my resolutions..and so far..it worked.

Take me to...

My sweet friend Aurelia is sick from Sunday, she has even been in the hospital. She really has to take her rest but to tell you the truth..I really miss her. We always have so much fun through MSN..we even have our girly pyama party's so now and then..lol. Sweetie..I hope you feel better soon! I scrapped this page with 'Feeling Ick (&Boo-Boos too)' by K-Studio!

This page is made with K-studio's kit 'Sweet Pete'. I used 2 year old pictures of my son and wow..has he changed..where have his cheeks gone...he has such a small face now...sweet..but small...well..I guess he will change more than once in his life ;)

I think I never scrapped so many pages with one kit ever before. 'Take me to the old world' by Lily Designs, Lotta Designs and Sussie M. Designs is really my all time favorite...it is just perfect. I already had 4 pages but to change the christmas layouts in my toilet into 'take me to the old world' I needed 2 more pages..and I made them. Now I can print and frame the...will look great. Guests will be in the toiletroom longer than they should ;) There is soo much to see at these layouts.

New layouts

wow...I haven't posted any layout this year...mh...it was one of my resolutions...I had only two..post every day and loose some weight..and I did already loose some...yeah!! Ok..so...from now on..posting will be better, I promis!!!

The After Five Designers made this wonderful collab 'Light up the Night' and this collab is truly amazing, really the best they ever made in my opinion.

Irene Alexeeva released a new kit 'Kiss him he's green'....I love the kit and made this page with it. I used a template of Studio Crystal at SBG.

Sooo...loosing weight...one of my resolutions..I scrapped the start of my battle and after the first week. I used K-Studio's kit 'Motivated' and I will continue using this kit for it untill I reached my goal. I even saw she has made some according wordart so I really need that now...as extra motiviation (well..isn't that a good excuse for buying it..lol).

I used Kasia's kit 'Going Camping' to make this page...guess it turned out good.

This page is made for the 'On the House Challenge' at After Five. I used a freebie of Lily Designs 'Vintage White' and it is wonderful....you should really grab it as long as it is available.

For this picture of my youngest son I used Lotta Designs' kit 'Sleep Tight'.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everybody....hope you have all the best in 2010!
We spent New Year's eve at my parents house. We had a good meal, wonderful fireworks and a great evening and now we are slowly getting back to normal life....which is good too! This page is made with 'New Year Party' by ET Designs.

Journaling: My wishes for 2010 are not so big...well..I have no special wishes. I only hope that 2010 will bring more joy and happiness than we had in 2009. In think I can say 2009 was not really our year..we had so many sad and bad things on our way...so...my wish for 2010 is to have peaceful year. Is that too much asked?

Christmas

It is December 26th already and in the Netherlands that is an official holiday...we celebrate 2nd Christmas Day. Yesterday my parents were here..we all got some lovely presents, had a great dinner *yeah..my timing was perfect..all food was ready in time* and we had a lot of fun with the new balance board for the Wii...so we lost some weight during the evening, which was great after a huge meal.
This page has been made with one of Kasia's $1 kits.. 'Pieces of Christmas'. Tomorrow is the last day of her $1 Christmas Sale so take your chance! For the shadows I used K-Studio's 'shadows perfected layer styles'. I wanted to buy them for longer time and I am really happy to have them now..they are great!
Well..I am leaving now..we are going to the Christmas Circus in town...so wish you a great day!

Chistmas Eve

Wow...it is December 24th already and I have been running around last days doing Christmas shoppings. Today I will have to pick up last little things that I have ordered and buy a few presents and then I am ready to celebrate Christmas with my family. This evening I will bake my Christmas bread and we will watch 'All you need is Love-Christmas Edition' what is always good for some tears hihi....then tomorrow my parents will come and as we celebrate a second Christmas here in the Netherlands we will go to a special Christmas-circus on December 26th...I am really looking forward to all these celebrations...and I hope to find some time to scrap as that is what I love to do after busy days. I have some last Christmas layouts I made these last days..hope you like them.

Kristen Rice/K-Studio is December guest at Catscrap and released a great kit 'Feeling ick (&Boo - Boos too)'...it is filled with great elements to scrap you sick or hurted kid's pictures. I realllly love all her designs :)

Kasia relesed a new kit 'Kit For a Girl' and I used pictures of our sweet little friend Julia. Kasia has some great '7 days $1 Christmas sale'..everyday there are some $1 kits in her store..a wonderful chance to complete 'my Kasia collection'..

New Releases

So many releases these last days.....first we have Irene Alexeeva's new kit 'Fireplace Tales Full Kit'. Love the elements in this kit..really great!

Catherine Designs released 'Have a Merry Alpha', perfect for all holidays and elegant pages and coordinates with the collab Esprit de Noël Kit and Esprit de Noël Mini-Kit Add-On. This alpha comes in three versions : Gold, Silver and Red. There are also some silver letters that have been embellished!
I used a picture of my oldest son, right afther he had Christmas party at school..wearing his new clothes..he looked so beautiful!

Mag Designs released a new wonderful kit 'Frosty Christmas' and according 'Frosty Christmas Alpha'. I scrapped a picture of my hubby with our dogs...believe me...this picture is not perfect but it was not easy to even get it this way, those santa hats are really not made for dogs :)

Shabby Miss Jenn Designs released her kit 'A warm and Cozy Xmas'. I used a picture of my parents with Santa Clause taken in Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, Finland (Artic Circle. I am totally jealous about this meeting...it was so special to meet the 'real' Santa!!

I did a OKC for Katrins Design's new kit 'Magical Winter Dream'. The wordart is from her 'Christmas Wordarts'..the gorgeous model is my son :)
