Site Weed Girl

Yesterday morning I received email from the Weeds and Wildflowers-site adminstration in which they asked me to join the Site CT of Weeds and Wildflowers Design.

It would involve things like leaving comments in the gallery to encourage the private CT's, helping with challenges and the Meadow blog, and monitoring the gallery and forum (the Site Weed Girls are the eyes and ears of our designers), as well as other odds and ends – and I’d get to scrap for and with all of the fabulous designers!! This is the absolute top of CT-work and I was really thrilled, happy, proud and very very surprised that they've asked me.

A few hours later I was able to join all forums and not just Patricia's...and meanwhile I'm working hard on some layouts for Gina Marie Huff and Heidi Williams.

I am just so happy.....

Day 2

At 'The Meadow' you'll find the 2nd day of '12 days before Christmas' and today Ingeborg (Ikscrap) made above great Quickpage which you can find here.

And to win more prizes you'll have to answer today's question 'tell me your favorite Christmas/Holiday Song'. Well..mine is 'Happy X-mas' from John Lennon and Yoko Ono...when I hear that song..I'm in the mood right away!

Yesterday my oldest son obtained his second swimming diploma (the 'B')..he was happy and I was proud. He is definitive a better swimmer than his mom now ;-)

Jolly sleighriding

I already made two layouts with 'A wildflower holiday'. First layout - Be Jolly - shows my father, husband and two sons having great fun in the snow..it was on December 30th, 2005.

For the second layout 'Sleighride' I used a picture from my parents at their Norwegian holiday last February when they had a 'dog-sleighding-safari'. It was a great experience for them and the photo shows how great it must have been! I used this layout for the next Meadow challenge where we had to make a page using one of the weeds & wildflowers alpha's but for the whole layout we had to use only one colour scheme.

The boy...

I finally finished the challenge at The Meadow I told you about.

It's a picture of my youngest son with my oldest dog in the park close to our house. It was a great challenge and it gets me to scrap outside of my regular comfort zone.

The Meadow

The new Weeds and Wildflowers CT Challenge blog called "The Meadow!" (a site with challenges, freebies, gifts, and product highlights) has a new challege. So today I made my first 'Meadow-layout' and used a doodle-kit, 2 buttons and a big title. Credits can be found here.

The doodle-kit I used was made by Patricia Christensen (of Weeds and Wildflowers Design)...must be coincidence that it was Patricia who asked me this afternoon to be her guest-CT for the rest of October and the month of November....yeaaah...I'm so happy!
